Join us for a conversation between writer, editor and former publisher, Phillipa McGuinness and Belinda Castles from the Department of English for a discussion on writing and publishing.
Phillipa McGuinness is the author of Skin Deep (Penguin 2022), The Year Everything Changed: 2001 (Penguin 2018) and editor of Copyfight (NewSouth 2015). Her work has appeared in The Guardian, the Sydney Morning Herald, Griffith Review, Inside Story and Meanjin. She is a former publisher at NewSouth/UNSW Press and Cambridge University Press and a regular commentator on book publishing, maternal health and life and politics at the turn of the 21st century.
